At Shelter Bay Marina in Panama, Captain Patrick guided the crew of Lady Slipper through SONNY, a Brooklin 91 designed by Bruce Johnson and built in Brooklin, Maine. The 35 year old captain from Lake George, New York, gave us a very special personal tour, while detailing information above and below deck.
Patrick raced J24s at Lake George, where I learned to sail and swim at age 4, so I enjoyed sharing stories about my dad racing his Star called FATHOM at Lake George in the Star Number 1 Fleet.
Editors note: learn more about new crew member Gordon Manning on the “About” page of this website (https://www.ladyslippersailing.com/about).
