Presque Isle State Marina is one of the many marinas operated by the Michigan DNR. Boat and fishing licenses go towards the operations. We have been to two state marinas thus far and they are very impressive with the amenities they offer, the cleanliness, and the friendliness. Boat slips, docking assistance, fuel, Wi-Fi, a boater's lounge, and showers are available at the marina. They even have a courtesy van to drive boaters to the stores, restaurants, etc. There are two historic lighthouses on the peninsula and a wooden boat show held in the harbor each year. This harbor is Clean Marina Certified.
